Posted September 17, 2018 07:51:06 Indian National news service (IN) has launched a new edition of the popular Hindi news channel, NBS.
The service will be launching in three parts on September 17.
The new edition, titled ‘India News Network’, is aimed at providing a new angle of view on news and opinion, with an emphasis on the people and topics that matter to the nation, the channel said in a release.
The new edition will be available on the channel’s website and app on September 18.
The channel is one of India’s most popular news channels, with more than 20 million subscribers.
The channel is also expected to launch a new programme called ‘India Today’, which will focus on the development of a more democratic India.
The launch of the new edition comes amid an effort by the channel to diversify its content.
The broadcaster had also launched a Hindi version of news channel PTI (PTI News) on September 9.
